25 Days of Christmad PAD Day's 14 & 15

Opps... I did it again (hey, speaking of... is Britney really pregnant again? Anyone know?).

So, I'm reading a new book on dog obedience because I'm at my wit's end dealing with 2 dogs everyday. I've even been (small confession) crying about it because at the end of the day I feel hopeless. With 2 hyperactive dogs and a cat I am greatly outnumbered throughout the day. So anyway, I got this new book that has gotten nothing but rave reviews and have been working on it. I was mostly thinking of the new puppy when I got it, but the crazy thing is that it's working on the dog that we've had for 4 years. 4 years of annoying behavior is changing over-night. LOL! For example, licking me in the face. She is a big dog with a big ol' nasty tounge and can not help but to lick any part of our exposed skin. It is G-R-O-S-S. Last night when I was on the floor and she was trying to lick my face I grabbed her muzzle firmly, but gently, and growled at her. I know, a human growling is so intelligent. She looked at me like, "Dang, girl!" I let go and she licked again. I grabbed her muzzle, growled 'nooooooo' and stared her right in the eyes for about 5 seconds. Let go. She did it again, I did the growling again. After about 4 rounds of this (brace yourselves) SHE STOPPED. She was 3 inches from my face and did not lick me.

WOOT!
We have smacked (don't call the cops), yelled, shoved, and done all kinds of other things in the past 4 years to correct this issue. One session of growling and she stopped.

If you have an unruly dog, get this book today.

Ok, so onto the photo prompts...

Hi Val! (waving hi!)

Still can't get onto TBLDS, so figured I'd post a hello here. Hopefully Michele can get me back online soon.

Anyhoo...I've enjoyed browsing through your blog (pointed here from Ikea Goddess). Great freebies, you are working so hard (and posting every day, wow!).

And I loved the London-gate story!!
