While Johnny has never expressed an interest in Cub Scouts (and believe me, we've done our best to talk him into it) Eden couldn't wait to be a Kindergartener so she could joing Girl Scouts. Yesterday was her first meeting and she is SO excited to be a Brownie! We will be picking up her vest today (ie. more pictures coming) but here are a couple that I took yesterday. As you can see, she has no problems fitting in. Her name is Extraordinary Eden. The girls had to pick a fun word that starts with the first letter of your first name. There is already an 'Excellent' somebody, and all I could come up with was 'Easy Eden' and 'Evil Eden' (neither of which her troop leaders thought was appropriate). So it was excited that she would be Extraordinary Eden, which will take some practice to say properly.

Oh Laura, thank you so much for pointing that out. It's funny how you can look at a photo a dozen times and never see something so obvious. Really don't want that on the internet, took it out.
Yes, I remember the days when I was a Brownie:-) We took a whole day once being in the woods, and we made "Bread on a Stick." Does anyone remember making this?
