Christmas Card Tutorial

Hey, long time no bloggie. Sorry.

Thought I'd share this year's Christmas card. It was so quick and simple to put together... about 15 minutes from start to finish (that included the tweaking I did). This is a 4x6 card that you can print out at the photo lab in no time flat. The kit I'm using is only $2.99, which for a limitless number of cards is quite a deal.

Download Bits & Pieces: Noel in The Digi Chick boutique.

Create a 4x6 blank canvas and flood-fill with the green color of your choice.

Create a new layer and stamp with the "Peace on Earth" stamp in a darker green color. Reduce that layer to about 28%.

Open the file called vfowler-noel-title.png and resize it's width to 5.5 inches. Copy and paste into the center of your green canvas. Add a drop-shadow if you wish.

Add your name to the blank area of the title and you're done! Save it as a .jpg before saving to a disk, camera card or uploading to a photo printing site (such as Snapfish or Winkflash).
