Whew!

What have I been up to, you may ask? I have been feverishly putting together 5 new and original layouts for the Making Memories Masters contest. I started a couple weeks ago and then did the usual thing... waited till the last minute and decided I didn't have enough time to complete it. Then I woke up one morning and thought to myself, "I don't care how hard I have to work, I am going to FINISH this thing and SUBMIT IT." I started putting layouts together for HOF earlier this year and didn't finish. I started putting layouts together for MMM LAST year... didn't finish. By golly, I am going to prove that I can finish something and submit this if it kills me! I have all my layouts done and I feel really good about them. Now I just need to do all the damn paperwork and have the pages printed and ship everything out. Wish me luck!!!!

BTW... this won't mean very much to you, but this picture is SO precious to me. This is my two kids with my sisters two kids. All the cousins on my side of the family (see, John's side is peppered with kids, on my side it's just me and my sister). So this is Eden and Johnny (who are mine) and Tyler holding his baby sister, Hannah, who zonked on him after a long day of visiting with friends and grandparents. Being cute all day must've worn her out. AAAAACK!! Seeing my kids with my sisters kids just KILLS me. I swear it makes me weepy. Shouldn't I be over the fact that we have our own children by now?

(oh, and the sleeper Hannah is wearing used to be Tylers... 11 years ago. Then it was Johnnys, then it was Eden's. Now it is back to Hannah. More weeping.)
