BEAT THE HEAT layout contest!

If you're like me this summer heat wave has got you BEAT! It's time to fight back
Mother Nature with my BEAT THE HEAT layout contest. Here's how it will work:

  • Create a brand new layout (ie. not an old one laying around in your gallery) with some WINTER photos. I wanna see snow and red noses and whatever evidence of winter you've got. Don't have any photos of the cold? That's ok. Just create a layout using pictures that were taken over the winter or that show how you spend the holidays.
  • Upload your layout to an online gallery. You might want to explain why you're posting winter layouts in the middle of summer ;)
  • Post a link to your layout AS A REPLY TO THIS BLOG ENTRY. (Don't email them to me. I can't keep track.)

I will choose my favorite layout and the lucky winner will receive my newest kit, Quite Me Down. This contest runs now through August 8th. Winner will be announced on Wednesday, August 9th. Good luck and HAVE FUN!!!

If you don't feel like entering the contest, this kit is currently available in The Digi Chick boutique. You can also pick up just the Stamp Set.

How about a Christmas LO? We just wrapped up Xmas in July, and I had this perfect overlay on hand!

I don't know if I'll get a layout done, but I think this is a GREAT contest. Also, Aussies are nearing the end of winter now so they may have some good contributions! I just love how the preview says, "Use these stamps for journaling...if you want!" Hee!

Hi - can I join this contest? Here is my winter layout! Well, really Christmas, but the cool whites feel like winter to me. Thanks for the challenge - it cooled me off a little thinking about winter! :)

Here is my layout

How about if I created it on Tuesday and you posted the contest on Wed? ;) Is that too old? I actually just posted one trying to stay cool in 100 degree weather in the hot Northeast! LOL!

I had soooo much fun with this page, I don't know if you can get the full effect of the details of the snow globe, but I ended up with a LO I love. Fun idea for a summer contest! Bridgitt
