Gather shovel (and the more appropriate choice, a rake)
Start with great enthusiasm.
Allow reality of job to sink in.
Watch in amazement as Dad quadriples the effeciency of 3 rakes with 1 leaf blower.
Romp and play.
Lay still as Dad buries.
Leave forlorn dog in the backyard.

OMG Val. You are too funny. I loved those pictures. I have always wanted to play in the fall leaves, but I have never lived where there were a lot of Maples and such. Great article.
