My baby is six! Geez, Louise. Every 4th of July I get all nostalgic and stuff thinking about the year she was born, because I labored all day on (everyone together...) the 4th of July. I remember just about every hour of the day. It was so sweet. I insisted on staying home until the last minute... sitting on the porch steps, contracting while watching fire crackers and saying to Johnny every 5 to 6 minutes, "Don't touch me. Don't touch me. DON'T TOUCH ME!" LOL! Ahh... such a fun day. Went to the hospital about midnight and had to wait till 3:00 for my epi because the anesthesiologist had been at a holiday function. And then the next morning, July 5th, our own little fire cracker was born :)
I decided to let her have a slumber party because it would be easier than our traditional parties. Uh... not so sure about that anymore.

The reason for this photo is probably self-explanitory. She received a Hannah Montana Barbie from us and was so enamored with that hairstyle that she wanted me to copy it. I'm not even good with my own hair, so being able to pull this off pleased me quite nicely. (That's the Barbie over her left shoulder.)
