Investiture ceremony

Aww... what a sweet afternoon yesterday. Eden had her investiture ceremony for Scouts and is now a truely, offically, 'pinned' Brownie. Do you know the story of the Brownie? I never did, but I think it's pretty cute, and as a parent I appreciate that Brownies are supposed to be good-deed do'ers, lol! Her pin is currently upside-down, and she must do three good deeds before it can be turned rightside-up.

Being silly before she takes her walk through the magic forest to look in the pond

Please wish her congratulations!

Congrats to you, Eden, and welcome to Girl Scouts. My daughter is 17 and has been in scouts since she was in first grade. We have done lots of fun things over the years. One of the most memorable was the week we spent last summer camping at the Disney World Resort and visiting all of the theme parks. I see lots of fun times and scrapping opportunities in your future.

Eden,
I'm always so proud of you! Today a Brownie. In the future President?

Love Daddy

P.S. Making Daddy cookies can be one of your good deeds. ;)
