New kit, giveaway winner, project and newsletter!

This post is going to be jam-packed with goodies, so hold on to your seats.

First of all, I'm excited to announce that Toby is the winner in the drawing for my new Falling Over kit. Yay! Toby, please email me your address and I'll send you kit right over (get_herbie at yahoo dot com).

More exciting news... I've decided to start putting out a monthly newsletter to keep all of you lovely ladies up to date and provide you with fun stuff. I have your first issue hot off the press this morning. This issue introduces you to the new kit and also has a free card download and $1.00 coupon inside. You'll also see some awesome layouts my creative team put together, so don't miss it!

After you download your free card you might think about making this little cutie and sending it to a friend. Instructions are below.

  1. Print out card on thick paper or cardstock with printer setting on 'best'. (I changed my dimensions to 4.5" x 3".
  2. Cut another sheet of cardstock measuring 5.25" x 7.5" and fold in half.
  3. ink the edges of the card front and the card base (I used one of my favorite ink pads... Tim Holtz Distressed Ink in mustard)
  4. Put a light amount of adhesive on the back of the card front to hold it in place. Then sew it down to the card base, putting your machine on a zig-zag setting
  5. Punch two holes along the spine of the card and loop a piece of ribbon through, knotting it at the top
  6. Knot smaller pieces of ribbon to the first, adding as many as you like.

Viola! And who said that digi-scrappers can't cut-n-paste?

Remember to stop by The Digi Chick and pick up Falling Over today while it's 20% off. Inside is your $3.00 coupon... oh the deals, it makes my head hurt!
